POLE BARN

BEYER AE worked with the Rutland Agricultural Society to design a cost-effective pole barn at the Vermont State Fairgrounds. The building provides flexible covered space for event pop-ups, livestock, vendor areas, and community gatherings. With a simple agricultural form, durable materials, and open structural bays, the design supports the fairgrounds’ changing needs while keeping the overall construction practical, efficient, and rooted in Vermont’s agricultural character.
